Eisenhorn because it's one hell of a book (three actually, with two bridging short stories), with a lot of really great stuff without going as OTT as others, and you get a look at chaos and a small look at spess mehreens as well, so that's three races covered, to a degree. The Eisenhorn Omnibus was one of my favorite 40k reads. While previously only available as part of the Eisenhorn Omnibus, this short story will soon be released as an e-publication, alongside another Eisenhorn story Backcloth for a Crown Additional. I'll start with Gray(or is it Grey) Knights for 40k Warhammer. Ravenor Omnibus- Also written by Dan Abnett, the Ravenor series is a great detective story set in the Warhammer:40,000 universe. Without The author, Dan “John McClane” Abnett is a real fan of the stylized violence of the 40k universe, which is obvious when you read it. It tells the Quality-wise this is compared to Eisenhorn, the first series is still considered the better one but the quality is supposed to be similar and if someone liked the first he should like this too. This trilogy is often tagged as one of the absolute best Warhammer 40k series, but will it live up to the hype? Havent read any of Gaunt's, hope its not as bad as I hear. The Inquisitor Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett has proven to be one of the most popular series of books within the 40K line of the Black Library publication, and February 25th sees, for the first time, the individual release of the short story Missing in Action. Xenos' story is a wild journey Gregor Eisenhorn is a great addition to the Warhammer setting. And yeah, these have already been released, I think in the Eisenhorn Omnibus. This is an omnibus, written small, and contains a complete series.
